The Sheffield & Hallamshire Senior Cup Final will take place at Hillsborough on the 4th of May 2010 at 7.00pm between Hallam FC and Sheffield FC. It is set to be a fantastic clash and one which will set the anniversary match up nicely. We look forward to your support!!

Today’s FA Vase game at Penrith has been called off – will post new date when it is confirmed

A new look Hallam side took on Selby Town last night at Sandygate and more than matched their opponents who currently lie 4th in the league. Hallam came from behind 3 times and but for the excellence of the Selby keeper could have won the game in normal time. Extra time was goalless and once again the Selby custodian thwarted Hallam when the game went to penalties, Selby winning the pens 4 – 2.

At Southport, the Youth Team’s fine run in the FA youth Cup came to an end when they were beaten heavily. Still Chris and the team can be proud of the run they have had this season, particularly the game against Glasshoughton which had many at the game commenting on the outstanding football played by both teams, but especially the Hallam side. Here’s hoping the side come back even better next year

Hallam Under 19’s lost to Sheffield Club 2 – 0 at Sandygate. The game was marred by a serious injury to Club’s right back Dan Archibold – all at Hallam FC wish him a speedy and full recovery

The club have places available on the team coach for the long journey to Penrith on 14/11/2009. The coach departs at 9.30 and tickets are £12. Bookings are on a first come basis and places can be secured by signing up on the sheet in the clubhouse.

The Youth Team travel to Southport FC on Tuesday 20th October. The winners progress into the next round and a chance to play against a league club – best of luck to Chris and the lads
