This is a follow on from the first edition published 25 years ago and incorporates the Clubs history over the last 25 years.
The book will be priced at £10 each. The last edition was sold out many years ago.

FA REPRESENTATIVE XI AT SANDYGATE

Mike Appleby is bringing an FA Representative XI to Sandygate on 19th October to play a select Hallam XI.

We expect this to be a major attraction so watch this space for ticket availability and final arrangements.

BOXING DAY GAME - HALLAM FC V SHEFFIELD FC

This is the big one. Hallam FC V Sheffield Club in a replay of the Worlds first ever inter Club Game on 26th December 1860 – to be played by the two oldest Clubs in the World, on the Oldest Ground in the World. Kicking off at 2pm on Sunday 26th December 2010 – a day when it is believed there will be no other games played in Sheffield. There is already international interest for this historical event, which is limited to 1000 spectators only.

CLUBHOUSE EVENT

In the Clubhouse on 24th February 2011 a performance of ‘Football Fanatical ‘ by Graham Lloyd.

This is a lighthearted look at Football from a Football Commentators point of view and is guaranteed to delight a football-orientated audience. Tickets are not available yet but will cost £10.

END OF SEASON CHARITY GAME

On a date to be arranged in April 2011, we are expecting to turn out a guest XI of Hallam FC players to play the ‘ Hollyoaks ‘ charity team. This match is being arranged in association with the Sheffield Royal Society for the Blind who will be the main beneficiary of the event.

We hope Sheffield football supporters from all corners of the City will give this their support and make it well worthwhile.
